Job Posting: Product Manager

mTrade offers a Software as a Solution (SaaS) platform for trading residential whole loans. The primary focus of mTrade's technology solutions is to improve the efficiency of trading residential whole loans. Starting with industry best practices, we have built an end-to-end Loan Acquisition System (LAS) that ties buyers, sellers, documents, data, analytics, and vendors together.

At mTrade, product managers are responsible for the product, planning and execution throughout the software development life cycle. The position will work closely with Sales, Account Management, and Development to ensure customer satisfaction and quality are met.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, sales, and account management to understand application gaps and business needs
• Document the business requirements for new applicaton functionality
• Initiate new application functionality, working with internal and external parties to ensure solution success
• Manage product scope and deliverable for software releases
• Develop positioning to facilitate the development of product marketing communications, education, and sales tools relating to ROI, benefits, features, and functions of the product
• Review / evaluate deliverables on a continuous basis to ensure that business requirements are being addressed

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting
• Minimum 5 years of product management / product marketing / business analyst experience
• Experience developing and detailing software product requirements
• Ability to analyze and clearly communicate business requirements as a key input to the product development process
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Legal, Development, Quality Assurance, Support, Marketing, and Sales
• Self-motivated, strong team player, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with the agile project management process is a plus
• Bachelor's degree required; ideally in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or an Engineering discipline
