Job Posting: QA Analyst

mTrade is looking for a QA Analyst to create, develop, implement and execute manual test cases for enterprise-class web applications. The ideal candidate will work in collaboration with development, client services and operations teams in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with mTrade development teams as a quality assurance team member
• Develop written test cases utilizing "stories" contained within agile sprints
• Create functional, component, performance and system test cases for manual execution
• Utilize mTrade hosted applications (e.g., Jira) to track defects from problem identification through resolution
• Provide time estimates to complete testing related tasks within a sprint
• Support mTrade applications as a subject matter expert
• Understand quality assurance methodologies and the principles of software design

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline; equivalent related experience is acceptable
• One (1) or more years of experience in a quality assurance role
• Experience developing test plans in an agile development environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Project and Visio
• Understanding of Transact-SQL is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience collaborating with development, client-facing and operations teams to ensure a quality software application
• Ability to meet deadlines and juggle multiple assignments concurrently
